After a stopover in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discogs.com\/artist\/1336940-Love-Me-Destroyer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Love Me Destroyer<\/a>, his next project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discogs.com\/artist\/2034018-Tin-Horn-Prayer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tin Horn Prayer<\/a> found him in the element that fit him best as he became older and wiser (for example watch the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/FMacnKqg0wc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">video<\/a> for <em>Crime Scene Cleanup Team<\/em>). This is where he reshaped his voice and his relationship with music, the road to now be a solo artist (we saw with Frank Turner that the road from punk band to solo folk artist can lead to success). Scooter James&#8217; first single <a href=\"https:\/\/snappylittlenumbers.bandcamp.com\/album\/we-bend-b-w-dear-friends\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>We Bend<\/em> \/ <em>Dear Friends<\/em><\/a> was released a year ago and now there is a follow-up, of which A-side <em>Way Too Heavy<\/em> in particular is worth your time, not in the least because of that great snarly voice.
