For over a decade, this Norwegian rock ‘n’ roll outfit has been keeping the flame of 1960s beat alive, and Showtime Requests By Popular Demand finds them doing what they do best. Here, Perry Dear & the Deerstalkers perform four live favorites (hence the title), pressed to vinyl and crackling with energy. Twanging melodies and tight harmonies come together in a sound may belong to another era, but its invitation to dance is timeless.
The Showtime Requests By Popular Demand EP—two vocal songs and two surfy instrumentals—is out digitally and on 7″ vinyl through Soundflat Records.
