The Shower Puffs are a British rock ‘n’ roll duo featuring Alex Screamer handling vocals, guitars, and drums, alongside Will Baird on bass. Listening to the four tracks on their Powerpuff Twist EP takes your mind to a frenzied late-night basement show, sweaty and loud. From the very first drum hit, this raw garage punk comes at you full blast, a sound driven by thick bass grooves and distorted breakneck rhythms, with Alex Screamer’s raw vocals ripping through the mix like a buzzsaw powered by pure adrenaline. It’s lo-fi efficiency at its most joyful, turning a handful of ideas and some chemistry into an impressive amount of noise.

Powerpuff Twist is out digitally via Portuguese label Headshrinker Records.
