We previously featured First Boy On The Moon in these columns, so it feels logical to also give First Girl On The Moon some love. It is the debut EP from London-based singer-songwriter Erica Manzoli, who threads together previous singles—Burn The Internet, Dear Other Woman, Suzy Loves Sam (inspired by Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom movie), and Princess Prudence—with two new cuts that sharpen the project’s emotional arc. Expect synth-driven,  radio-ready indie pop that feels like stepping into a hand-built indie universe where heartbreak, awkward romance and internet-age malaise orbit the same small planet. Theatrical but honest, cinematic yet intimate.
