Technically a solo project by Chicago-based Dave Sea, this new EP might read like a bit of a downer on paper (despite the hopeful EP title, the track list includes Dread Mode, Do You Remember Dying, Everything Isn’t Gonna Be Alright), but sonically it’s pure bloodstream-clearing punk rock.

This stuff hits fast and hard, scrappy but focused, the kind of raw energy that cuts through the gloom rather than wallowing in it. Call it bleak themes with life-affirming volume.
