V. Tiers just keeps cranking out scorchers under his Jacket Burner moniker. The Eat Shit + Die LP (another killer Goodbye Boozy release from the past week) is already the third time Jacket Burner’s made the wantlist since last year’s debut. Fun fact: the last outing was a split with Bart and the Brats—who, fittingly, also dropped new music this week.

Jacket Burner songs aren’t cathedrals—they’re sheds. Crooked, rough-edged, built fast and functional, but impossible not to love. And true to form, this record is over before you’ve finished your coffee—fifteen minutes of trashy, buzzsaw Ramonescore that blows past without wasting a second.

The charm is in the speed and scrappiness, but there’s something extra clicking here. Honestly? This might be the strongest batch of Jacket Burner songs yet.
