Heather Sawyer (The Hussy, Proud Parents, XXX Piss, Boo/Hiss) seems to have our blog on speed dial—or maybe it’s the other way around. Either way, the occasion this time is a new 4-song 7″ on Goodbye Boozy Records, and it’s tilting hard toward killer essential release territory.

The Very Motorcycle EP (which follows last year’s Not Very Motorcycle tape). This is the kind of poppy lo-fi garage punk that ticks every box. Concise? Crunchy? Catchy? Scrappy? Snarly? CHECK, CHECK, CHECK, CHECK, CHECK! Even closer No Animals, the outlier with no percussion and a more leisurely pace, still hits the back of the room on the strength of its melodies.
