Wulu Walu is a Paris, France-based post-apocalyptic rock duo featuring Manon Losfelt on bass and Erik Maunoury on drums. The five tracks on their self-titled debut EP are lo-fi and primitive but also intense and hypnotic. The two instrumental tracks here are straightforward and engaging, but it’s the vocal tracks that make this release stand out—the post-punk-esque Diskore with talk-singing from Steffen Charron and the groovy Brooklyn Walk with raps from James The Prophet leading the way.

The eponymous Wulu Walu EP, recorded and mixed by Laurent de Boisgisson, is out now digitally (self-released).
