A year ago we were introduced to La Flemme, a colorful garage pop/punk rock four-piece from Marseille, France, featuring Jules Massa, Stella Lopez, Charles Priem and Ronie Marciano. Now they follow up that eponymous debut EP with their first full-length album, entitled La Fête (translated: The Party). It turns out to be a post-teen whirlwind that blows through nine dynamic and noisy songs, sung in French and injected with a dose of psych. Frenetic energy that comes across as spontaneous—you could also call it explosive and lively.
