After dropping two demos last year, Seattle five-piece Fan Club—a rock’n’roll superteam formerly known as Lysol—now finally make their official debut with Ain’t No Saint, a five-song EP that collects those demo tracks on a convenient 12″ that may or may not set your turntable on fire, may or may not ignite a spontaneous pogo-’til-you-puke party, may or may not evoke comparisons to the early version of The Hives—if that band had more dirt under their nails—and yet still sounds very much like a band dead set on making rock’n’roll feel edgy and dangerous again.
I know that’s a lot of commas for a single sentence, but that lack of breathers fits this EP perfectly. No stops.
