New album: ERRTH || ERRTH

Band of punk rock lifers make a compelling debut

Kevin Day (Aspiga/Graduation Speech), Eric Saylor (Reunions), Tim DeMarco (ex-Public Serpents), and Brian McClure (Seeing Snakes) are punk rock lifers, and with their new band ERRTH, they’ve crafted one of the most compelling melodic punk rock records I’ve heard in a while. Out now on Uncle Style Records, this self-titled debut is a testament to their collective experience and passion.

ERRTH has drawn comparisons to The Lawrence Arms, Hot Water Music, Lifetime, and Samiam—fair references, but this is a record best experienced firsthand. With three primary songwriters and multiple vocalists, the album covers a lot of ground while maintaining a strong sense of cohesion. The band may not be reinventing the wheel, but they play with such conviction, integrity and heart that it feels fresh and urgent. Call it what you want—melodic punk, gruff punk, whatever—this one hits hard and sticks with you.
