New single: MELTZ || Peluru/Krayon

A sharp and surprising first release from Indonesia’s MELTZ

Jakarta’s MELTZ may only be testing the waters with their two-song debut single, but honestly? They should dive right in. Their sound is punk for indie pop kids—energetic and up-tempo, straightforward yet deceptively smart.

Peluru is a moody indie rocker with a killer synth-driven breakdown at its core, while Krayon leans more into indie punk—and it’s even better. The first 80 seconds fire off like a sugar-rush power pop anthem before the song comes to a sudden halt, only to close out with a burst of unexpected yet brilliant horn parts. It’s a moment that lingers, leaving you thinking about just how much potential MELTZ have—which, by the sound of this, is a whole lot.

Out now digitally via Kinetik Records and on tape through Outta Sight Records.
