New album: Bite Me Bambi || Eat This

Eat This. It is the suitable title of the album on which Orange County, California-based ska punk outfit Bite Me Bambi brings together eight delicious songs full of hooks and horns. Tahlena Chikami (vocals, guitar), Mike Berault (keys), Ryan Brown (bass), Edgar Guadiana (sax) and Dan Evans (drums) pair energetic pop keenness reminiscent of No Doubt with infectious rhythms comparable with The Interrupters, resulting in nothing but hits. Opening track Too Many People features Dirty Walt Kibby of Fishbone, and Want You Bad is a cover of The Offspring, yet Bite Me Bambi simply does their own thing—punchy and playful, with a sharp attitude. It is only a bonus that it is so damn appealing.
