Little Junior cite Buzzcocks, Breeders, Blur and Pixies as influences, which on their sophomore self-titled album sounds like a geek rock fusion of Weezer and Ash. The Toronto-based band’s indie rock is packed with punchy, ’90s-style fuzzy guitars, but what really shines are the infectious melodies. The tracks move at a pace that’s just fast enough to keep indie punk fans hooked, making this a highly enjoyable and effortlessly listenable record.
