Those rumblings of thunder? Don’t worry, it’s not the weather — just the latest EP from Norfolk’s Crime Line, Stray Bullets, the band’s fifth release since their 2021 debut. We reviewed several of them, but their latest might just be their best yet. This is six tracks of pure hardcore ‘n’ roll, packed with a tight, hard-hitting rhythm section, scorching guitar work, and an equal mix of grit and sleaze.
Frontman Raymond Braza delivers with a voice that commands attention, though I don’t envy the calluses his tonsils must endure. You don’t even need to turn up the volume because this thing already hits like a freight train. Simply put, Stray Bullets is an absolute ass-kicker of an EP.
