New album: The Tambles || In The Hive

Infectious Nederbeat that guarantees 44 minutes of fun

To record their third 60s and 70s inspired full-length album, Dutch garage rock four-piece The Tambles drove some 600 miles to the Czech Republic, to build a studio out of an old farm, depicted in the cover art of the fabulous In The Hive LP. We get no less than fifteen energetic original songs, in which rhythm & blues, psychedelic rock and beat music merge just as easily as guitars, organ and drums. Anyone who has seen this band live knows that they guarantee a good time, but here they outdo themselves. In each subsequent track they manage to pack together so much fun and hooks in two or three minutes that you can’t help but surrender, with Love The Rain as the irresistible anthem for this summer. This record is danceable, uplifting and infectious, made for the repeat button.

In The Hive, produced & mixed by Ruben Drenth, is out now digitally and on vinyl LP through It’s a Gas! Records. Cover art by Murls.
