New EP: SIKM || Now I Must Comply

Old school aesthetics punk purists and curious newcomers will embrace

One glance at the album cover – band name and title in red typeface over black and white art of a face screaming its tonsils out – and you might think you’ve stumbled upon a classic late ’70s/early ’80s UK punk release. But SIKM is a current band from Atlanta, Georgia, sonically channeling the spirit of early ’80s UK punk and French Oi!

Recorded in Paris by Maxime Smadja (of RIXE, CONDOR, BOSS etcetera), this explosive 12″ EP (Now I Must Comply) packages six tracks of aggressive, abrasive, yet accessible punk that I think both punk purists and curious newcomers will embrace.

Kudos to Jeff Poleon for the striking cover art that perfectly captures the EP’s essence. Now I Must Comply is out now on Beach Impediment Records.
