New EP: Dan Webb And The Spiders || Ohio Coyotes

Dan Webb and Adam Nurre started their musical journey together as teenagers in their first band. Life took them down different paths: Webb headed to Boston and became a DIY punk rock lifer, while Nurre pursued a professional music career in Austin and Nashville. A chance reunion at one of Nurre’s shows brought them back together, and before they knew it, they were collaborating again — this time remotely from different parts of the country. Webb handled songwriting, guitar, and vocals, while Nurre enriched the tracks with bass, drums, percussion, and keys.

The result of this long-distance partnership is the Ohio Coyotes EP, a five-song collection that showcases the growth and creativity of both musicians. Clearly, these two musicians picked up a trick or two in their respective careers! The Ohio Coyotes EP is a departure from Webb’s earlier work, offering accessible, Americana-tinged indie rock with a rich musical depth and a deeply human soul. Nurre’s tasteful, subtly adventurous percussion adds a unique layer to these tracks.

The Ohio Coyotes EP is a reminder that sometimes life’s unexpected turns lead to the most rewarding destinations.
