Last Christmas, Swedish garage rock band The Maharajas released their highly entertaining Rock’n’Roll Graduates LP. The four veteran musicians return with a new 45 – Talkin’ To The Man on side A and (Let’s) Play House on side B – that won’t look out of place in the Pub Rock section of your record collection. Both tunes are catchy and inspiring (and thirst-inducing) in their own way, and in any case we can only applaud any contribution to the self-fulfilling prophecy that we will be saved by Rock’n’Roll. Friday night will be even more fun than usual.
