Yesterday, I noticed we are up to 200 pages of content on Add To Wantlist. I then looked up our total amount of posts and discovered we were eerily close to our 2000th post. Dennis posted our first writeup on November 8 (2020), which means we’ve been avering 15 posts per week. That is kinda crazy and hard to fathom. To mark the occasion, what better way to celebrate our 2000th post by paying tribute to our number one resource for discovering music and posting embedded content: Bandcamp! However, because we have zero talent for making music ourselves, we rely on Vista Blue to do the job for us. The Nashville pop punk outfit recently wrote two theme songs for Bandcamp Fridays that are a lot of fun.
To be sure, our relationship with Bandcamp Fridays is a complicated one – RIP our mail boxes, but we love the initiative just the same. And honestly, our website would not be the same if it weren’t for Bandcamp. So yay for Bandcamp, yay for Vista Blue, and a major thank you to the artists that create music worth exploring.
