Italian label One Chord Wonder previously brought us great releases by Komet and Hakan. Their latest release is a bittersweet one. It’s the farewell EP of Twister, an Italian pop punk four piece from Rome that’s been around for twelve years or so. The EP, a co-release with Mom’s Basement Records is limited to 104 copies (CD digipack) split equally between the two labels. If you are a fan of the style of pop punk by bands like The Copyrights, Dear Landlord and Starter Jackets, I am pretty sure you will appreciate this one.
Twister’s self-titled EP is the band’s way of saying thanks and goodbye, but in these case I think we should be the ones tapping our hats with gratitude. Thanx for the tunes Twister!
