Early this year we wrote about garage rock duo Bruiser Queen playing three songs of The Welders, and now they’re back with eleven new hits that will cause a sweating mass live. “Nowhere to run // We’re The Wild Ones.” Singer/guitarist Morgan Nusbaum and drummer Jason Potter not only make noise for five, but they also do it in an infectious, danceable, creative and humorous way. They kick off their fresh LP Between You, Me, and the Trash with a cool Sound Check Song of exactly one minute, to close after half an hour with an honorable cover of Dead Moon’s Walking on My Grave. In between you hear melodic guitar riffs, potent drumming, powerful vocals, handclaps where functional, and amusing lyrics to shout along to. Fun to the max.
