New album: Lofi Legs || Leg Day

In 2019 Lofi Legs released their full-length debut album Lamb, of which lead single Dreamin in particular was very popular on the streaming services – an intimate lo-fi folk song (“Dreaming under the moonlight // Holding you so tight // Happy just to be with you”) in the middle of tracks that took off musically in different directions. Now the San Francisco-based rock group is back with their new LP Leg Day, which is just as eclectic but a step forward in sound. Band founder Paris Fox-Carr (vocals, guitar) is now joined by Daniel Bromfield (keys), Strummer Millward (bass), and Fabrizio Incerti (drums), playing an idiosyncratic mix of indie rock, garage psych, and folk pop. Each of the 13 quirky songs here is a surprise, with its own tempo and different style elements, yet it feels like a whole. Don’t skip Leg Day!

Leg Day is out now digitally and on vinyl LP through We Were Never Being Boring Collective.
