On the back of his excellent solo debut, Ricky Rochelle returns with a limited single by his band The Young Rochelles – already sold out, I’m afraid. A-side Haunted is Exhibit A in how music can be cathartic for those who have experienced abuse in any form or way. It’s a classic pop punk song, but a corageous and deeply personal one for Rochelle.
On the flipside, you’ll find Phantom Maggot, a perfectly executed cover from one of my all time favorite pop punk records.
